We're Swimming for Sick Kids🤍
We recently discussed the idea of learning something new, when we decided 'what about we get an annual membership at Camden pools and learn to do laps confidently?'
We continued to talk about it on and off, but never really acted on the thought until we stumbled across the RMH ‘Swim For Sick Kids’ fundraiser…
We have both always been strong believers in the power of everything happening for a reason, so naturally, we have taken this as a sign to go for it and give it our best shot💪🏼
🐡From November 1st, through to November 16th, we are committing to swimming a total of 4 laps of a 50m pool each day, working towards a total of 3.2km for the entire duration.
We are both by no means swimmers, nor have the experience, BUT… Here’s to learning something new, encouraging ourselves to push the limits and doing so to raise awareness and support for sick kids staying at the Ronald McDonald House in Randwick. We understand the desire to have their family close by as they face these battles, and we hope to assist in making this happen for them, no matter how small our impact may be.
