ABOUT MEALS MATTERS
What is RMHC Sydney's Meals Matter?
The current situation with COVID-19 is having a very real impact on our Ronald McDonald House, Family Rooms and Programs across Sydney and Wollongong.
To ensure we continue to provide the safest environment possible for our families of seriously ill children, we are no longer able to host our dinner and meal programs for families. That’s why we need your help!
During this difficult time, you can show a bit of kindness and help brighten their day, by sponsoring a home-cooked meal for them to enjoy.
What kind of meals can I sponsor?
$300 covers one night of home-cooked meals for families staying at the House by helping us buy groceries and cook the meals.
$500 covers one night of home-cooked meals for families staying at the House by helping us get take away meals.
$1000 covers two nights of home-cooked meals for families staying at the House by helping us get take away meals.
Or you can donate another amount of your liking to go towards a home-cooked meal.
Do you accept PayPal?
Yes, we do.
I am interested in sponsorship, how do I get more information?
For all sponsorship enquiries, please contact Rachel Stoddart, Business Development and Relationship Manager Rachel.Stoddart@rmhc.org.au
What does RMHC Sydney offer?
RMHC Sydney is more than a place to sleep. At RMHC Sydney, we are privileged to meet some of the most resilient and positive families that there are and yet they are living this news for real. In times like this, you come to realise what really matters - family.
RMHC Sydney located in Randwick, gives seriously ill children the best gift of all – their families. A family to lean on when you are feeling your worst and a family to celebrate the wins with. A family who just lets you be you.
Our House is a warm and supportive home-away-from-home for families of children travelling to Randwick for treatment at the Sydney Children’s Hospital.
At RMHC Sydney, we are committed to providing family-focused care allowing families to stay by their child’s side during their treatment at the Sydney Children’s Hospital.
Our communal facilities help to create a social and supportive environment and offer a few of the comforts of home that make life just that little bit easier.
